Padang Biscuit

Misc Fabric

Padang Biscuit shows a softly worn damask pattern in a warm biscuit beige, with the motif sitting just a shade lighter than the ground. The overall effect is refined and quietly decorative rather than bold.

About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is 140cm wide and made from 50% Pol 43% Cot 7% Lin, with a pattern repeat of 51.5cm and care instructions AQW1<. The weave reads as a smooth, lightly textured cloth, giving the damask a gentle softness rather than a high-gloss finish. Its biscuit tone is creamy and mellow, with enough depth in the ground to let the scrolling motif show up clearly without strong contrast. That restrained colour balance makes the design feel elegant, warm and easy to place in a room.

How to use it

Use Padang Biscuit on upholstered seating, cushions or elegant drapery where you want a classic pattern in a neutral that feels warmer than ivory. It pairs particularly well with oak, pale plaster and aged brass.

A soft biscuit damask that brings a calm, tailored finish to classic interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
