Amersham Biscuit
Amersham FabricF3623-05
Amersham Biscuit reads as a warm, quietly lustrous beige with a gently textured surface and subtle horizontal slubbing. The colour sits in a soft biscuit range rather than a stark cream, giving the cloth a refined, settled look.

About this fabric
This Amersham colourway has a restrained, tonal plainness that lets the weave do the work, with fine horizontal striations and a light-catching finish visible across the surface. The supplied composition is 61% viscose, 17% cotton, 16% polyester and 6% linen, which helps explain the fabric’s smooth drape and softly polished appearance. With a width of approx. 145cm and no repeat in either direction, it is straightforward to pattern-match for broad uses. The Biscuit shade is a warm, muted neutral that feels cleaner than tan and less yellow than a classic beige, making it easy to live with.
How to use it
Use this biscuit tone to soften tailored upholstery, window seats or padded headboards, where its subtle sheen will lift natural light. It also works well beside oak, chalk white and deeper brown accents, keeping the room warm without looking heavy.
A softly lustrous neutral that feels calm and tailored on both upholstery and curtains.

Pairs well with
Amersham Biscuit is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
