About this fabric
This Amersham colourway reads as a muted sand beige, with a warm undertone and a lightly slubbed texture that catches the light in fine horizontal striations. The fabric is woven with no repeat, making the surface feel clean and easy to tailor in both structured and relaxed schemes. At approximately 145cm wide and composed of 61% viscose, 17% cotton, 16% polyester and 6% linen, it has the substance of a versatile furnishing cloth rather than a delicate sheer. The overall effect is smart but restrained, with enough depth in the weave to keep the neutral from appearing flat. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and √CM fire code are noted.
How to use it
Use it on armchairs, banquettes or cushions where a warm neutral needs to sit comfortably with oak, aged brass or stone. It also works well for curtains in rooms that call for a soft sand-toned backdrop rather than a stark cream.
