About this fabric
Woven in a blend of 61% viscose, 17% cotton, 16% polyester and 6% linen, Amersham Natural has the balanced handle of a versatile furnishing cloth. The fabric shows a fine, even weave with subtle speckling and faint slubs that give the beige ground a relaxed, organic character. Its 145cm approx width and zero repeat make it straightforward for tailored upholstery or pared-back curtains. The tone sits between cream and sand, reading warm rather than stark, with a soft chalky depth that catches the light gently.
How to use it
Use this natural beige as a calm base for a sitting room, where its understated warmth will sit comfortably beside timber, stone and painted joinery. It is especially effective with layered neutrals, but also grounds deeper accent colours without looking heavy.
A quietly textured neutral that layers easily with oak, linen and darker accent woods.

Pairs well with
Amersham Natural is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
