Amersham FabricF3623-09

Amersham Beige reads as a quiet, warm beige with a subtle woven sheen and a lightly striated surface. The tone feels soft and settled rather than yellow, giving the cloth an easy natural warmth.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a pale beige ground with a gentle golden warmth and faintly mottled bands that catch the light across the weave. The surface has a refined slubbed texture, so the finish looks softly tactile rather than flat. With a width of approximately 145cm and a composition of 61% viscose, 17% cotton, 16% polyester and 6% linen, it sits in a versatile mid-weight category suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The repeat is effectively none, with both vertical and horizontal repeat at 0cm approx, which suits a calm, uninterrupted look in the room.

How to use it

Use Amersham Beige to soften tailored upholstery, or hang it as curtains where the warm neutral tone can lift daylight without feeling stark. It pairs particularly well with oak, chalk white and deeper taupe finishes.

A softly textured neutral that brings warmth without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
