About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted flax beige with a subtly melange finish, where the lighter fibres lift the surface without making it look stark. The cloth has a neat, small-scale woven texture that keeps the appearance grounded and tactile rather than flat. With a width of approximately 145cm and no repeat, it is an uncomplicated choice for tailored use. The composition of 57% viscose, 21% cotton, 12% linen and 10% polyester gives it a balanced handle suited to both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Marldon Flax to soften darker timber, limestone, or painted joinery, where its warm beige tone adds depth without overpowering the room. It works especially well with natural linens, muted greens, and aged brass for a calm, layered scheme.

A quiet neutral that works beautifully across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
