About this fabric

This Albeck fabric from Colefax and Fowler has a subtle plain weave with no repeat, so the effect stays clean and tonal across the width. The mix of 57% viscose, 21% cotton, 12% linen and 10% polyester gives the cloth a softly softened handle and a lightly textured look that suits tailored interiors. At approximately 145cm wide, it is a practical breadth for made-to-measure projects, while the ivory shade sits between warm cream and pale ecru. The colour catches the light delicately, appearing fresher on the raised weave and slightly deeper in the tiny interlacings.

How to use it

Use Marldon Ivory for relaxed upholstery, roman blinds or full-length curtains where a pale, warm neutral is needed. It works especially well with oak, limestone and aged brass, adding softness without cooling the room.

A quiet ivory with a softly textured finish, ideal for schemes that need light without starkness.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
