About this fabric

This fabric from the Ashdown collection by Colefax and Fowler is composed of 62% linen, 30% viscose and 8% polyester, giving the surface a natural-looking texture with a slightly softened finish. The printed botanical pattern is medium in scale, with repeated leafy sprays and small flowering clusters that read clearly without feeling busy. In this colourway, the pink blossoms and old blue leaves are muted rather than bright, so the design feels calm, spring-like and quietly traditional against the warm cream background. The fabric has an approximate width of 132cm and a large repeat of V 78cm half drop by H 87cm, so pattern matching will need to be planned with care.

How to use it

Use it for curtains, cushions or a light occasional chair where the soft cream ground and cooled pink-blue palette can keep a room feeling fresh. It works especially well with painted wood, pale timber and quiet neutral upholstery.
