Fairlight Red/Green

This colourway of Ashdown reads as an airy printed fabric with a pale, natural-looking ground that lets the stems and foliage sit softly on the surface. The 62% linen, 30% viscose and 8% polyester composition gives it a cloth-like, lightly textured appearance rather than a stiff or glossy finish. The repeat is quite substantial at V 78cm half drop by H 87cm approx, so the wandering branches and small flower clusters have room to feel balanced and decorative. At 132cm approx wide, it is a practical width for curtains, cushions or statement upholstery pieces where the pattern can be shown clearly. The red accents are muted and slightly dusty, which keeps the scheme calmer than a brighter floral and lets the green leaves carry most of the visual weight.
