About this fabric

This 300 gsm textile has a subtly mottled surface in warm off-white and light birch tones, with fine tonal variation visible across the swatch. The restrained texture keeps the fabric relaxed while preventing the pale shade from looking completely flat. With a 144 cm usable width and no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, it can be cut efficiently for broad applications without matching a design. The standard length is 35 metres, making it practical for coordinated upholstery and drapery schemes.

How to use it

Pair Alvar Birch with pale oak, chalky neutrals and soft grey-beige upholstery for a light, quietly layered room. Its warm cream tone also works as a gentle curtain or cushion ground where a plain fabric with subtle surface movement is preferred.
