About this fabric

Woven in 44% cotton, 28% linen, 14% wool, 13% polyester and 1% polyamide, Croft Cream has the reassuring handle of a classic furnishing fabric with a subtle dry texture. The stripe is very fine and regular, reading almost like a woven pinstripe rather than a bold pattern, and the 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat means the design sits quietly across a room. At approximately 143cm wide, it is a practical textile for upholstery or drapery where a calm, textural neutral is wanted. This colourway carries a soft beige-cream warmth with a pale tonal contrast in the stripe, so it feels settled and understated rather than crisp or cool.

How to use it

Use Croft Cream on upholstered seating, loose covers or simple curtains where you want texture without visual weight. It works especially well with limewashed walls, oak, rattan and other softly layered neutrals.

A soft neutral that layers easily with natural woods and pale painted finishes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Croft Cream without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
