Etienne Beige

Carissa Sheers FabricF4624-02

Etienne Beige is a pale, airy stripe with a very soft warm-beige ground and faint tonal patterning that reads quietly refined in the light. The design feels crisp rather than heavy, with the woven stripe detail adding just enough structure to keep the sheer looking tailored.

About this fabric

This colourway is a gentle cream-beige with a warm undertone, so the stripe definition appears softly shadowed rather than sharply contrasted. In the image, the vertical bands sit on a calm, luminous ground, with the decorative stripe sections showing a delicate woven texture that only becomes obvious close up. Made in 70% Linen and 30% Viscose, Carissa Sheers has the natural, slightly dry look of linen tempered by a smoother finish from the viscose. The fabric is approximately 140cm wide, with a repeat of V 7cm / H 46cm approx, which suits the restrained rhythm of the stripe. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Etienne Beige in rooms that need softness without losing architectural order: it works beautifully at tall windows, especially where the light can pick up the pale stripe. Its warm beige tone pairs well with oak, chalky paint colours and relaxed upholstery in linen or wool.

Use for elegant curtains that keep the room light and softly tailored.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Etienne Beige without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
