About this fabric

Woven in 70% linen and 30% viscose, this sheer has the light, airy handle expected of a drapery cloth, with a 140cm approximate width and a vertical repeat of 7cm with a horizontal repeat of 46cm. In this Old Blue colourway, the ground reads as a misty blue-grey rather than a strong blue, so the patterned stripes feel calm and softened. The motif shows through with a slightly textural, translucent quality that lets the ivory ground remain dominant. Its restrained sheen and open weave give the design a relaxed, elegant finish that suits window dressing and soft layering.

How to use it

Hang it at the window to bring in diffused light while the pale blue stripes add quiet pattern. It works especially well with chalky whites, weathered oak and other cool, softly aged finishes.

Use where you want a pale, airy stripe with a quietly aged blue note.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
