Ambrose Pewter

Carissa Sheers FabricF4632-04

Ambrose Pewter is a quiet, finely woven sheer with a cool pale grey-beige cast and a softly diffused surface. Its translucent look gives the colourway a gentle, airy presence rather than a dense or opaque one.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a soft pewter grey with a faint warm undertone, broken up by the visible slub and cross-thread texture of the weave. The 58% linen, 29% viscose and 13% wool composition gives it a natural, slightly dry hand in appearance while still looking smooth and refined. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, the fabric presents as a plain sheer rather than a patterned cloth, and the 300cm approx width makes it especially practical for wide curtain drops. The pale tone sits neatly in the light, so the surface looks subtly mottled rather than flat, which adds depth to an otherwise understated colourway.

How to use it

Use Ambrose Pewter for full-length curtains where you want daylight softened by a cool, neutral haze. Its restrained grey tone pairs well with limestone, painted timber and understated upholstery fabrics.

A refined pale neutral for airy curtains and quiet layering.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
