Mecox Wallpaper Slate

Colefax Naturals W/P I Wallpaper20283-01

Mecox Wallpaper Slate presents a pale, muted slate-grey ground with a minute, closely spaced texture across the surface. The even patterning gives the paper a softly tactile, almost woven visual character without a bold motif.

About this wallpaper

Made from 100% paper, this wallcovering has a fine, regular surface of tiny dark and pale marks that create subtle depth across the cool grey field. The Slate colourway reads quiet and lightly softened rather than deep charcoal, with a faint warmth in the lighter flecks that keeps the tone from feeling stark. Its supplied repeat is approximately V 0cm / H 0cm, so the small-scale texture flows continuously instead of creating a visible pattern break.

How to use it

Use this pale slate-grey paper on a study, hallway or bedroom wall where its restrained texture can sit behind warm oak, linen and off-white painted wood. The cool grey tone also gives darker blue-grey furniture a tonal backdrop without competing with it.

Pair its pale slate-grey tone with warm timber, chalky neutrals and softly aged metal.

Pairs well with

Mecox Wallpaper Slate is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
