About this fabric

Cosima Silver from the Cosima Velvet II collection by Colefax and Fowler is a velvet with a subtle, touchable finish and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx. Woven in 56% viscose and 44% cotton, it has the full-bodied handle expected of upholstery velvet and a width of 140cm approx. In this colourway, the cloth reads as a pale silver warmed by the cotton content, with faint taupe-grey undertones that soften the sheen. The surface appears smooth and even, with the nap taking the light in a way that gives the fabric depth without a strong pattern effect.

How to use it

Use this silver-grey velvet on a tailored sofa, slipper chair or ottoman where its cool tone can lift darker woods and stone. It also works well in scheme with chalky whites, dove greys and muted metallics for a calm, polished room.
