About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep burnt sienna, with chestnut and mahogany undertones that make the velvet feel warm rather than flat. The pile has a subtle directional sheen, so the surface shifts from reddish brown to almost cocoa as it moves across the light. With a width of approximately 140cm and a composition of 56% viscose and 44% cotton, it has the substantial handle expected of a proper upholstery velvet. The repeat is effectively absent at V 0cm / H 0cm approx, giving it a clean, uninterrupted look for larger pieces and tailored finishes. The √CM fire code is also supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this sienna velvet on a club chair, banquette, or ottoman to add warmth against oak, walnut, or aged brass. Its deep earthy tone works especially well with cream walls and darker, layered interiors.
