About this fabric

This colourway reads as an almost-black chocolate brown, with the pile taking the light in a very subtle, velvety way rather than showing any visible pattern. The fabric is 100% cotton and supplied at approximately 140cm wide, with no repeat in either direction, which suits the plain, solid appearance seen here. Its dense velvet finish gives the shade extra depth, making the brown feel warm and subdued rather than bright or reflective. The overall effect is clean, luxurious and highly grounded.

How to use it

Use this dark chocolate velvet on a sofa, armchair or ottoman where the rich depth can anchor the room. It pairs especially well with pale stone, warm timber and brass accents for contrast.
