About this fabric

This Dante Velvet colourway is made from 100% cotton and has no visible repeat, giving it a clean, uninterrupted field of colour. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a practical cloth for tailored interior work, and the velvet pile adds a subtle directional sheen across the surface. Burnt orange sits between terracotta and red-brown here, so the shade feels warm rather than bright, with darker edging where the pile falls away from the light. The result is a plush, atmospheric fabric that feels grounded and rich rather than glossy or flashy. The fire code is √CM.

How to use it

Pair this burnt orange velvet with walnut, aged brass and textured neutrals to let the colour’s warmth stay central. It suits statement chairs, ottomans and cushions where its depth can be seen in changing light.
