Carnforth Copper

Tarn FabricF4799-04

Carnforth Copper has a softly weathered look, with warm coral-copper tones threaded through a fine linen-rich weave. The surface reads calm rather than shiny, with gentle vertical slubbing that gives the cloth quiet movement.

About this fabric

This colourway combines 41% viscose, 40% linen, 11% cotton, 5% acrylic and 3% polyester, giving the fabric its balanced, slightly crisp handle and subtle texture. The weave is almost plain from a distance, but close up it shows delicate speckling and vertical striations that break up the warm copper ground. In the image, the shade sits between soft terracotta and coral, with a sun-faded warmth that feels lighter than a deep rust. With a width of approximately 139cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it works especially well where a clean, uninterrupted look is wanted.

How to use it

Use Carnforth Copper to warm up neutral seating, or pair it with pale oak and chalky creams to keep the colour feeling airy. Its muted copper tone also sits well beside aged brass and earthy greens for a layered, softly contemporary room.

A warm, textural copper that brings easy colour without feeling loud.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
