Hampton Gingham Rust

Hampton Fabric07

Hampton Gingham Rust pairs a warm rust check with soft oat and ivory stripes for a grounded, country-led look. The woven texture gives the colourway a lively, tactile finish rather than a flat print.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a medium-scale gingham effect in rust, oat and ivory, with the warmer vertical stripes standing out clearly against the lighter ground. The weave has a chunky, knotted texture that gives the surface depth and a slightly nubbly handle in the image. It is made from 67% Polyester and 33% Recycled Polyester, with a Martindale of 20,000 and General Domestic usage, so it suits everyday schemes where a practical decorative fabric is needed. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it can be used with confidence for domestic upholstery or relaxed drapery projects. After care is Professional Dry Clean in situ, with further instructions in the pattern book.

How to use it

The rust tone brings warmth to pale timber, cream paintwork and informal, lived-in interiors. Use it to add colour to banquettes, cushions or curtains where the check can read as crisp but not overly formal.

A warm rust gingham that works well for easy upholstery or fuller curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
