About this fabric

This Hampton colourway shows a gentle blush pink stripe set against a pale ivory and oat-toned ground, so the pattern reads soft rather than bold. The weave has a lightly textured, slightly slubby surface that gives the stripes a hand-crafted feel and keeps the finish from looking flat. With a Martindale rating of 20,000 and General Domestic usage, it is well suited to everyday interiors where a decorative but practical fabric is needed. The composition of 67% Polyester and 33% Recycled Polyester also supports a crisp, resilient handle, while the supplied back coating to Cigarette & Match to BS5852 adds an important performance specification. Professional Dry Clean in situ is recommended, with further care guidance to be taken from the pattern book.

How to use it

Use this blush and neutral stripe to soften painted timber, pale oak and linen upholstery, or to bring a gentle lift to relaxed curtains. It works especially well in bedrooms and sitting rooms where the muted pink notes can add warmth without feeling sugary.

A soft blush stripe that feels fresh on a chair or gently tailored at the window.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hampton Gingham Blush without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
