About this fabric

Morton Old Pink from the Bampton collection by Colefax and Fowler is a plain woven fabric with no visible repeat, making the subtle texture and colour do the work. It is composed of 34% viscose, 33% cotton, 26% linen and 7% polyester, and measures approximately 140cm wide. The blend gives the cloth a dry, natural-looking handle with a little soft lustre from the viscose, while the pink sits in a muted old-rose register rather than a bright blush. In this colourway the weave looks gently sun-warmed and understated, with tiny flecks of tonal yarn that keep it from feeling flat. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied.

How to use it

Use it where you want colour without sweetness: it suits a tailored sofa, upholstered headboard or relaxed curtains in a room with chalky neutrals, oak and aged brass. The muted pink tone feels especially good with warm whites, taupe and stone.
