About this fabric

This colourway sits in a warm cream palette with a gentle beige undertone, so it feels softer than stark white and easier to place in a room. The weave is small and even, with the subtle slub and linen-rich texture visible in the swatch giving it a quiet, cloth-like character. Supplied at approximately 140cm wide, it is composed of 34% viscose, 33% cotton, 26% linen and 7% polyester, which supports its balanced, versatile handle. With no repeat noted and a plain appearance, Morton Leaf is especially useful where a calm, tactile ground is wanted rather than a statement pattern.

How to use it

Use this soft cream colourway to lighten painted woodwork, oak furniture and layered natural linens. It is an easy choice for upholstery or curtains where a restrained, warm neutral is needed without reading flat.

A quiet neutral that works beautifully across relaxed upholstery and tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
