About this fabric

This Morton Beige colourway shows a pale beige tone with subtle cream warmth and a dry, linen-rich surface that catches the light gently. The weave reads as a straightforward plain, with no visible repeat, which keeps the focus on its understated texture. It is supplied as a fabric, approximately 140cm wide, with a composition of 34% viscose, 33% cotton, 26% linen and 7% polyester. That blend helps explain the soft, slightly slubby handle visible in the swatch, while the overall effect remains neat and quietly refined. With its low-key surface and neutral depth, it works as a versatile base for both classic and contemporary schemes.

How to use it

Use this soft beige on upholstery, cushions or simple curtains where a calm natural ground is needed. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalky paint colours and darker accents for gentle contrast.

A quietly elegant neutral that layers easily with timber, linen and painted finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
