Ridley Oatmeal presents a warm, softly shaded neutral ground crossed by fine, irregular vertical lines. The close, tactile weave gives the oatmeal colour gentle depth as the light moves across the surface.

About this fabric

This substantial 760 gsm woven fabric is well suited to upholstery, with a 138 cm usable width for practical cutting. Its softly undulating lines shift between oatmeal, ivory and muted taupe, creating movement without a high-contrast effect. The pattern repeats every 38 cm vertically and 35 cm horizontally, so the organic stripe remains consistent across a larger piece. With 65.7 threads per cm, the tightly constructed surface has a refined, textured appearance.

How to use it

Use Ridley Oatmeal on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its warm beige tone can soften darker timber and add quiet movement to a neutral scheme. Pair it with ivory, putty and muted taupe textiles to draw out the subtle tonal variation in the woven lines.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
