Elsworthy Limestone

About this fabric

This 161 gsm fabric has a light, refined handle that is well suited to drapery, with a usable width of 148 cm. The limestone shade sits between warm ivory and pale grey-beige, while the lighter pattern catches the eye without creating a sharp colour contrast. Its 55.8 cm vertical repeat and 50.8 cm horizontal repeat organise the irregular lines into a measured, flowing design. A specification of 141 threads per cm supports the close, finely textured appearance visible across the swatch.

How to use it

Use Elsworthy Limestone for full-length curtains or relaxed Roman blinds where its pale limestone tone can soften stronger architectural finishes. Pair it with warm white, putty, pale oak and brushed metal for a restrained, tailored scheme.

Use its chalky limestone ground and fine vertical moiré for calm, tailored curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Elsworthy Limestone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
