About this fabric

This colourway reads as a restrained Aegean blue-grey rather than a saturated blue, with the light pattern catching against the cooler ground in a delicate tonal contrast. Irregular vertical bands run across the cloth, enclosing repeated oval and organic marks that create a gently shifting rhythm. Weighing 161 gsm, the fabric has a light-to-midweight handle suited to drapery. Its 148 cm usable width is paired with a 55.8 cm vertical repeat and 50.8 cm horizontal repeat for considered pattern placement.

How to use it

Use Elsworthy Aegean for full-length curtains in rooms that need a cool, airy note without stark contrast. Pair its pale blue-grey tone with chalky whites, soft greys and natural timber to let the vertical moiré movement remain the focus.

A cool, pale blue-grey moiré with softly rippling vertical movement for elegant curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
