About this fabric

This Linwood fabric is composed of 30% cotton, 25% viscose, 15% linen and 30% wool, and it has a sturdy 40,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for contract and general domestic upholstery as well as curtains. The visible surface is a plain cloth with a subtle woven speckle and faint vertical striations that add movement without introducing a pattern. Its oatmeal tone sits between beige and pale stone, with warm undertones that keep it from feeling stark. At 137cm wide and with BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 compliance, it is a practical choice where a natural-looking neutral is needed.

How to use it

Use Pluto Oatmeal on a sofa or loose cover to bring warmth to a pared-back room, then layer it with oak, chalky paint and textured ceramics. It also works well as curtains where the soft beige tone will filter light gently and keep the scheme understated.
