Pluto Petal

Pluto Fabric

Pluto Petal is a warm terracotta plain with a softly woven surface and a dry, natural-looking finish. Its muted clay tone gives the fabric a grounded, inviting feel rather than a bright red note.

About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 30% Cotton, 25% Viscose, 15% Linen and 30% Wool, Pluto Petal has a textured, cloth-like handle that reads substantial enough for both curtains and upholstery. The 137cm width and plain design make it straightforward to use across loose cover or fixed upholstery projects, while the 40,000 Martindale rub test supports contract and general domestic use. Visually, the colour sits between brick red and burnt sienna, with a softened terracotta depth that catches the light in fine woven striations. It is finished with a stain-resistant aftercare note and conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 for cigarette and match ignition performance.

How to use it

Use Pluto Petal to bring warmth to pared-back interiors, especially alongside oak, aged brass and chalky neutrals. The muted terracotta works particularly well on a sofa, reading earthy and smart rather than overly bold.

A warm clay tone that feels earthy and easy to pair with oak, linen and soft neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
