Omega Velvet 4 Terracotta is a solid, light-catching velvet in a warm burnt-orange terracotta tone. The pile gives the surface a soft depth, with subtle shade variation as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

This plain velvet reads as a deep, earthy terracotta rather than a bright orange, with a softly muted warmth that feels grounded and inviting. The 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose composition helps explain its practical, even finish, while the 100,000 Martindale rub test and contract/general domestic upholstery rating make it well suited to hard-wearing seating. At 137cm wide, it is also a useful width for fixed upholstery, loose covers and curtains, and the BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 cigarette and match rating adds reassurance for interior use. The plain vertical repeat keeps the look clean, letting the colour and plush velvet texture do the work.

How to use it

Pair this terracotta velvet with warm neutrals, aged brass and natural wood for a scheme that feels rich but relaxed. It works especially well on a sofa, banquet seating or cushion accents where the colour can glow in daylight.
