About this fabric

This Linwood velvet is supplied in a durable 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose composition, with a 100,000 Martindale rub test and contract and general domestic upholstery grading. The plain surface visible in the swatch has a smooth, dense pile that shifts between darker wine shadows and brighter magenta highlights as the light moves across it. At 137cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery, while the A FR rating to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 adds reassurance for residential and contract settings. The overall effect is a luxurious tulip pink with a bold, jewel-like intensity rather than a soft pastel finish.

How to use it

Use this shade to add a strong focal point on a sofa, armchair or ottoman, then balance it with plaster pinks, warm neutrals or dark timber. It also makes a striking curtain velvet where the rich pink depth can show off the pile.
