Agathe Corail

Agathe Corail is a lively pinstripe fabric with narrow coral pink bands running over a pale, softly warm ground. The close vertical rhythm gives it a fresh, tailored look with just enough brightness to lift a room.

About this fabric

Woven in a 55% viscose, 35% cotton and 10% polyamide blend, Agathe Corail has a refined cloth handle that suits both upholstery and drapery applications. The repeat is vertical only at approximately 0cm, with a small horizontal spacing of about 1.5cm, creating a very fine striped effect across the 142cm width. In this colourway the coral reads clean and cheerful rather than sugary, with the pale ground keeping the palette light and airy. The surface has a subtle textile grain that softens the stripe and prevents it from feeling too sharp. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use it to add a tailored accent to a bench, occasional chair or curtain in a room that needs a lift of warm colour. Its coral-on-light ground works especially well with chalky neutrals, pale woods and brushed brass.

A crisp coral stripe that brightens upholstery or curtains with a fresh tailored feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
