About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this Bagatelle colourway has a natural handle that suits both drapery and upholstery applications. The design shows a large-scale floral repeat, with pale beige ground tones supporting branching stems in warm taupe and a dense layering of fuchsia, plum and blush blossoms. At approximately 136cm wide, with a repeat of V 96cm / H 68cm, it offers a substantial pattern rhythm that will be most effective when allowed to run across generous lengths. The overall effect is bold but still refined, with the linen base softening the intensity of the pinks and lending the surface a relaxed, slightly dry texture.

How to use it

Pair it with painted wood, pale oak or simple ivory upholstery to keep the magenta notes bright and elegant. It works especially well in rooms that can take a decorative statement, such as a drawing room, bedroom or formal sitting room.

Use for statement upholstery or full-length curtains to let the vivid blossom tones shine.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
