Bagatelle Corail

Alba Fabric04725-05

Bagatelle Corail shows a lively botanical pattern in warm coral, rust and plum tones on a soft pale ground. The design feels expressive and painterly, with a generous repeat that gives the vines and blossoms room to breathe.

About this fabric

This colourway is woven in 100% linen and has a relaxed, naturally textured handle that suits both curtains and decorative upholstery. The large-scale floral and vine motif is drawn in coral, terracotta, plum and olive-tinged stems, so the overall effect is warm rather than sugary. Against the light cream background, the saturated petals and scrolling leaves read clearly and give the fabric a confident, decorative presence. The repeat is approx. V 96cm / H 68cm, which supports the pattern’s open, all-over rhythm across wider pieces.

How to use it

Use it as a statement drapery in a room with plaster, oak or painted wood to echo the fabric’s warm ground. It also works on a feature chair or ottoman where the coral and rust shades can punctuate a quieter scheme.

The warm coral and rust tones bring life to a classic room without feeling too bright.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
