About this fabric

This colourway reads as a clear, lively orange with a warm red undertone, giving the velvet a bold but polished look rather than a flat brightside finish. The pile appears dense and refined in the image, which suits the fabric’s upholstery-grade performance and contract/general domestic use. It is made from 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, and the 100,000 Martindale rating underlines its suitability for hard-working seating. At 137cm wide with a plain repeat, it is practical for loose covers, fixed upholstery and curtains where a strong block of colour is wanted. Care is straightforward: wash with care at 30C, dry clean, and avoid ironing or tumble drying.

How to use it

Use Tango to bring energy to a neutral sofa, ottoman or dining chair, where its warm orange tone adds a confident accent. It also works well as statement curtains against chalky whites, stone or deep timber finishes.
