About this fabric

This colourway reads as an earthy taupe with a gentle brown-grey cast, so it feels grounded and understated rather than cool or silvery. The velvet surface gives the shade subtle movement as the nap shifts, which is especially visible across the plain ground. Made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it is specified for Curtains, Loose Cover Upholstery and Fixed Upholstery. With a 100,000 Martindale rub test, 137cm width and contract/general domestic upholstery grading, it is a practical choice as well as a refined one.

How to use it

Use this taupe velvet on an armchair, banquette or headboard for a soft, tailored look. Its restrained warmth sits well with oak, chalky neutrals, bronzes and other natural textures.
