Omega Velvet 4 Steel
Omega Velvet 4 Velvet046
Omega Velvet 4 Steel is a rich, cool charcoal velvet with a smooth, low-sheen surface and a quietly tailored look. The pile catches the light softly, giving the shade a subtle tonal depth rather than a flat dark grey finish.

About this fabric
Woven in a durable velvet construction, Omega Velvet 4 Steel has a close, even surface that reads as deep steel-grey with a distinctly cool undertone. The fabric is made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, and it is rated to 100,000 Martindale, making it suitable for both contract and general domestic use. Its A FR rating conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and the 137cm width supports efficient cutting for upholstery projects. The plain pattern and restrained sheen make the colour feel modern, smart and versatile without looking stark.
How to use it
Use Steel on a sofa, banquette or headboard when you want a dark neutral with a softer, more luxurious finish than flat grey fabric. It pairs especially well with pale woods, black accents and chalky off-whites.
A cool, dark neutral that gives furniture a tailored, understated finish.

Pairs well with
Omega Velvet 4 Steel is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
