Severac Mer

Ambroise Fabric04978-03

Severac Mer presents a quietly elegant damask pattern in a soft blue-grey palette, lifted by a pale ground and finely textured weave. The motif feels crisp rather than heavy, with the pattern reading clearly without overpowering the surface.

About this fabric

Woven in a 56% Cotton, 16% Viscose, 12% Linen, 11% Acrylic, 5% Polyester blend, Severac Mer has a balanced body that works beautifully for either upholstery or curtains. The 139cm width and approximate 64cm vertical repeat / 34cm horizontal repeat make it suitable for larger pattern matching across seating or drapery. In this colourway, the damask sits in cool grey-blue tones with a misted, slightly chalky finish that keeps the design light and refined. The texture shows a subtle slub and woven depth, giving the classic motif a relaxed, contemporary edge.

How to use it

Use Severac Mer to bring a calm, tailored note to a bedroom, sitting room, or drawing room. Its cool grey-blue ground pairs especially well with pale oak, stone finishes, and soft chalky neutrals.

A cool, understated damask that suits tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Severac Mer without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
