About this fabric

This Mushroom colourway sits in a warm grey-brown register, giving the velvet a grounded, easy-to-live-with look rather than a stark grey one. The pile appears smooth and even, with a subtle directional sheen that brings out tonal movement as the light shifts. Woven in 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it is offered on a 137cm width and has a plain repeat. With a 100,000 Martindale rub test and upholstery grading for contract and general domestic use, it is a practical choice for hardworking seating as well as curtains and loose covers. It also conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and the stain-resistant finish supports everyday use.

How to use it

Use this muted mushroom tone on a sofa or banquette for a tailored, contemporary feel, then soften it with chalky neutrals, oak and brushed metal. It also makes a refined curtain choice where you want the colour to sit quietly rather than dominate.
