About this fabric

This plain velvet has a refined, close pile that catches the light subtly, giving Moonstone a quiet depth across the surface. The 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose composition supports its practical feel, while the 100,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for contract and general domestic use. It is specified for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery, with a 137cm width and BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 cigarette/match compliance. The tone is a soft stone-beige with a faint grey cast, making it look especially fresh and understated in this image.

How to use it

Use Moonstone where you want a light, sophisticated neutral that will soften larger upholstered pieces without feeling stark. It works particularly well with oak, warm whites and muted greys, and as curtains it will bring a pale, tailored finish to a bright room.
