About this fabric

This Bagatelle fabric by Manuel Canovas is composed of 56% linen and 44% viscose, with an approximate width of 130cm and a repeat of V 38cm / H 65cm. The ground reads as a clean ivory rather than bright white, which lets the leaf motif sit lightly across the surface. Each paired leaf is drawn in cool blue-grey lines, giving the pattern a neat, tailored rhythm, while the slender stem has a muted olive tone that softens the overall look. The fabric feels refined and decorative rather than heavy, making the repeat appear airy and structured at the same time.

How to use it

Use this cool, pale colourway with bleached woods, chalky paints and pale upholstery for a crisp, calm scheme. It works especially well where you want pattern without visual weight, such as relaxed curtains or soft furnishing panels.

A calm leaf repeat that brings crisp patterning to a fresh, understated interior.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
