About this fabric
This fabric has a subtle horizontal strié effect that gives the surface a tailored, textural feel without any repeating motif, matching the stated repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx. The colourway sits between beige and taupe, with a softly warmed base that catches the light in faint silvery-beige lines rather than a flat solid. Its 55% viscose, 35% cotton and 10% polyamide composition helps explain the smooth hand and the slightly polished, woven finish visible in the swatch. At approximately 144cm wide, it is a practical textile for curtains, blinds or upholstery where a restrained, elegant neutral is needed. With no performance features noted and fire code √BM, it feels best suited to interiors that want subtle texture over strong pattern.
How to use it
Use Charlotte Lin to soften darker timber, bronze or charcoal schemes, where its warm taupe-beige tone will add light without looking stark. It would also sit nicely with layered natural linens and pale stone finishes for a calm, tailored room.
A calm neutral that works neatly across tailored upholstery and soft drapery schemes.

Pairs well with
Charlotte Lin is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
