About this fabric

Charlotte Mer from Manuel Canovas’ Agathe collection has a subtle striped surface that reads as calm blue-grey with pale taupe and silvered notes running through it. The repeat is effectively absent, with a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approx, which supports the clean, uninterrupted look visible in the swatch. Woven in 55% viscose, 35% cotton and 10% polyamide, it has enough body for light upholstery while still feeling neat enough for drapery, and the 144cm approx width makes it practical for both uses. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this cool, restrained colourway to soften walnut, oak or painted joinery, where its blue-grey tone will sit quietly but still add precision. It is especially effective on slim seats, bench cushions or tailored curtains in rooms that need a smart, composed finish.

A refined blue-grey stripe that works neatly on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Charlotte Mer without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
