Omega Velvet 4 Slate
Omega Velvet 4 Velvet059
Omega Velvet 4 Slate is a dark, velvety neutral with a smooth, low-sheen finish and a distinctly cool graphite cast. The plain surface lets the depth of the colour do the talking, giving it a quiet but substantial presence.

About this fabric
This slate colourway reads as a deep charcoal-grey with a soft greenish undertone, shifting subtly as the pile catches the light. It is a velvet from the Omega IV collection with an approximate width of 137cm and a plain pattern repeat, making the focus entirely on tone and texture. The fabric is specified for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery, with a contract and general domestic upholstery grade. Performance is strong too, with a Martindale rub test of 100,000 and FR compliance to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1.
How to use it
Use this shade to anchor contemporary sofas, banquettes or dining chairs where you want a sober, tailored look. It also works well for curtains in darker schemes, adding depth without introducing a strong colour statement.
A refined dark neutral that works beautifully on tailored seating and contract pieces.

Pairs well with
Omega Velvet 4 Slate is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
