About this colour
This shade reads as a muted olive green with warmth in it, rather than a sharp or blue green. On a wall it absorbs a fair amount of light, so it can feel cocooning without going black or heavy. In north-facing rooms it will look cooler and more subdued, bringing out its mossy side. In south-facing light the warmer undertone comes forward and the colour feels richer and more sunlit. It works well beside tan leather, aged brass, walnut, oatmeal linens and pale stone, where its depth gives the other finishes room to stand out.
