About this colour
#85A486 is a medium-depth green that feels cool-leaning and settled, with a gentle greyed quality that stops it looking bright. On a wall, it reflects some light but still holds its body, so the colour stays present without becoming heavy. In a north-facing room it can sharpen slightly and feel more mineral and restrained, while in south-facing light the blue-green side opens up and the shade looks a little fresher and warmer at the same time.
