About this fabric

Argyle Platinum from Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 1 is a 100% polyester fabric made for drapes only. The swatch shows a very light platinum-ivory ground with a fine small-scale diamond motif that catches the light gently rather than boldly. Its 140cm width and 378 grams per linear metre give it a substantial drape fabric feel, while the 3cm vertical and 2cm horizontal repeats keep the pattern neat and regular. Made in India, it has no rub test result noted, which aligns with its specified drapery use rather than upholstery.

How to use it

Use this cool-toned ivory in rooms that need softness without losing a tailored finish, especially alongside pale timber, stone and brushed metal. It works well for full-length curtains or structured blinds where the subtle diamond weave can read cleanly in daylight.
