Huxley Stone

Huxley FabricJ0294-12

Huxley Stone is a quiet, softly textured neutral with a linen-like look and a gentle stone-beige cast. The weave reads clean and understated, with just enough surface variation to keep it from feeling flat.

About this fabric

This colourway sits in a warm-to-neutral stone palette, showing a pale beige ground with subtle grey undertones and a dry, lightly slubbed texture. The plain weave gives it a calm, even appearance, while the tonal speckling across the surface adds depth in the light. With a width of approximately 138cm and a composition of 51% cotton and 49% polyester, it has the practical balance expected of a versatile furnishing cloth. The repeat is vertical 0cm / horizontal 0cm approx, which reinforces the simple, unfussy character of the design.

How to use it

Use Huxley Stone to soften darker woods, painted joinery, or patterned interiors without adding visual weight. Its muted stone-beige tone is especially good on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains where you want a neat, natural finish.

A calm, easy neutral that works across relaxed upholstery and tailored drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
