Idris Green

Elara FabricJ0308-04

Idris Green shows a fine, all-over textured motif in a muted sage-grey ground. The small repeat gives the surface a calm, close-up grain rather than a bold pattern statement.

About this fabric

Idris Green from the Elara collection by Jane Churchill is a fabric with a small-scale repeat of approximately V 8cm / H 8cm and a width of approximately 136cm. Made from 80% Recycled Polyester and 20% Polyester, it has a practical, upholstery-friendly handle while still feeling suitable for drapery projects that benefit from a little structure. In this colourway the design reads as a soft sage grey with a light, chalky cast, so the texture sits quietly rather than appearing high-contrast. The tiny repeating motif is visible across the whole surface, giving the cloth a refined, woven look that feels calm and understated. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for reference.

How to use it

Use this muted green-grey to soften warm woods, limestone, and pale painted finishes. It works particularly well where you want pattern at close range without adding visual weight.

A quiet, versatile neutral that adds texture without stealing attention.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
